Q. We have problems getting an orthotist to come and adjust brace problems before patient discharge, does Superior have a protocol that will speed up this service?
A. Superior will have day shift onsite orthotists that will service your patients post surgically, during their stay and before discharge. Superior will also provide 24/7 on call. These follow up times will be a fraction of what traditional orthotic companies provide.
Q. If rehab needed a custom made AFO, will they have it dispensed before patient discharge?
A. Superior offers a variety of products that are immediate delivery for patients as well as 24 hour fabrication at our 4000 sq ft centrally located facility in Nashville.

Q. Will not a simple store-bought arch support serve the patient as well as a custom made arch support?
A. Arch supports merely push against the arch when you are standing, and are not designed with the dynamic needs of your foot in mind. Although a $20.00 arch support can be of some help, they are very limited, and are manufactured in bulk to fit an average foot.”

Q. What specific conditions may be helped by a custom arch support?
A. If you have arch pain, heel pain, plantar faciitis, shin splints, calluses, corns, bunions or hammer toes. cramping, aching or tired legs, you can achieve an improvement. Certain types of leg, lower back and neck pain can be alleviated. The support that is provided helps control excessive pronation and helps with mid-foot, heel, ankle, knee, hip and lower back pain. If you have neuroma, geriatric, or diabetic foot problems, orthotics can provide you with needed protection and comfort.
